Week 4 #1
1. What gaming elements provide users the learning content and how?
· Text: In order to know in which briefcase to place the books, students must be able to read the text- words written on the book and then go on and sort it.
· Visual-graphic elements: in order to know where to place the books, the game provides visual and graphic elements like the animals holding a briefcase and books on a shelf to provide users with the learning content.
· Audio elements: Users hear the words presented on the book as they pass through it with the mouse. This helps weaker students who cannot read it on their own.
2. What is the goal of the game? The goal of this game is to get students to sort the books into the correct briefcase. Users must use the words presented on the book to know where to sort it to.
3. What are rules of playing this game? Users must click and drag each book into the correct vowel briefcase. If it was placed in the correct briefcases the animal will nod its head.
4. Does this game have any scenario design? If yes, is this a fabricated or embedded in curriculum-related content?
This game has a fabricated scenario design. It has been designed to increase the motivation in the students and it does not affect student performance.
